Char Dham are the names of four piligrimage places in India that are widely revered by most of the "Hindus". The Char Dham is the most important pilgrimage in the Indian Himalayas Region. Located in the state of Uttarakhand, Chardham is famous for Badrinath, Kedarnath, Yamunotri, Gangotri.every year chardham yatra start in month of April or may The region is referred as the land of the gods in the ancient Puranas. Scores of pilgrims visit the shrines by trekking arduously along the mountain paths, all for a communion with the divine. Over the centuries, these sites have been described in sacred scriptures as the very places where devotees could earn the merits of all the pilgrimages put together,
We will be covering the Chardham Yatra, organized by Exclusive Excursion Pvt. Ltd. The journey begins in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, the gateway to Lord Vishnu. Since Uttarakhand is known as the Land of the Gods, the Char Dham Yatra begins in Haridwar and From here, we first go to Yamunotri Dham, located in Uttarkashi district. After visiting here, we proceed to Gangotri Dham. Please note that Gangotri Dham is also located in Uttarkashi district.After Darshan, one goes to Kedarnathji, in which you can stay anywhere like Guptakashi, Phata, Soprayag, and the next day you can go to Kedarnathji as per your convenience, some people go by helicopter and many devotees trek to visit Baba Bholenath, and on that day they stop there [kedarnathji] and have evening Aarthi Darshan, the next day they leave from there and go to Badrinath to have darshan of Lord Vishnu, and finally the journey is completed by taking a Rishikesh.

Opning Dates of Chardham Yatra

The Char Dham Yatra traditionally opens around Akshaya Tritiya — a highly auspicious day in the Hindu calendar — and runs through the warmer months when Himalayan roads and mountain passes are safe.

Closeing Dates of Chardham Yatra

The closing dates often coincide with festivals like Vijayadashami / Diwali / Bhai Dooj, after which heavy winter snow makes travel difficult.
